Who says you can’t wear a winter coat to the beach?

rock and lighthouse

Anything above 30 degrees is fair game for beachgoing. Mid 40s today! Thing 1 celebrated in style. And, yes, that’s “our” lighthouse in the far distance.

  1. It may not be weather for a dip in the ocean here, but you would not need a coat to be there.

  2. This “winter beach” factor was one of the weirdest/hardest things to get used to. Once we did, it’s beach day every day!! Even (especially) if there is a storm…

  3. I should clarify, it was one of the hardest things to get used to about moving to New England. Being from the midwest, beaches were in my mind, like they are in Florida. Now, I think that those wide, open spaced beaches (with free parking!) are not as interesting. Give me Dane St. at low tide any day.
