This “winter beach” factor was one of the weirdest/hardest things to get used to. Once we did, it’s beach day every day!! Even (especially) if there is a storm…
I should clarify, it was one of the hardest things to get used to about moving to New England. Being from the midwest, beaches were in my mind, like they are in Florida. Now, I think that those wide, open spaced beaches (with free parking!) are not as interesting. Give me Dane St. at low tide any day.
